GemsBot development started in 2003 and it has been shown in public since January 2007. The spreadsheet layout is made up of two separate in nature parts. At the bottom you see the Scrolling Part where cell contents remain unchanged, but every five seconds all numbers are shifted down by one row and new data is printed at the top. This is the raw data that comes out of the evaluation process, which takes place in Excel. In the video you see only the last minute of raw data but all rows, around 5,400 of them for the regular hours trading period, are saved each day and are kept in this area of the site.
At the top you see the Static Part where cells do not shift but their contents are changing continuously depending on market action, sometimes up to five times in each five second step. In the Static Part the raw data has been processed and trading signals are depicted here. If you are new to GemsBot all you need to focus when you trade is this top area. You may also limit your attention to the few cells that pertain to trades for the instrument you follow.
However when you become familiar with GemsBot you will appreciate why the raw data in the Scrolling Part is shown. It is simply because it makes us anticipate of what is coming with trade entries and exits. With enough screen time this will be apparent and you will find yourself focusing a lot at the Market Strength column of the instrument you are trading. This will result in improved trading performance.
How to use the Archives
Since all raw data is in the Scrolling Part that is saved and Archived every day, it is fairly easy once you understand the mechanism of how trades are produced from it, to see all trade signals since January 2007. The only thing that is missing is the algorithm that selects the limit order entry for the first Major trade. This is simple arithmetic, twice the last value plus the CEP, divided by three and rounded to our advantage.
The reason that raw data is Archived is to give you an opportunity to check offline your actual trades, of the previous day or much older, versus the ones that GemsBot was producing. To do so you should plot the exact time of your entries and exits on the spreadsheet and then scroll it manually one row at a time and see the differences. By doing so every day, pretty soon you will see your live trading improving and you will start exploiting GemsBot to its fullest power.
If you experience any difficulty in implementing the above procedure, please ask me in one of our training periods to demonstrate it to you. Preferably you should choose one of your actual worst and best trades in the recent past and ask me to go over them.

Recording the Video
Using the hotComm Standard version recording the full video together with sound is a matter of just clicking the circle button with red background and the white capital R inside it. You are strongly advised to do so everyday and even when you are not in the room you should just let the recording run. You should also record training sessions and go over them when you are offline.
The reason that video recordings are not archived in the site is their huge size. To download a 15 hours video each day will take you hours and it is much simpler to do your own recordings. Again you should be reviewing the periods of the day that you were in a trade paying extra attention to your exits and checking whether they were in line with GemsBot. Once you are familiar with the system looking at the Continuation Trades will certainly improve your trading and most of all will improve your confidence in GemsBot. Nothing improves confidence more than seeing profitable trades. Within weeks you will be trading in the same relaxed way that existing members do. By setting a target of having profitable weeks and achieving it will change your life style forever.
